HCC CODER - APEX CODEMINE is looking for experienced

 HCC coders for a remote HCC coding position.

Our project is ongoing and will continue throughout the year.

 

Reports to: Project Manager

Employment Status: Remote Contracted (1099) Position

Position: Contract Position (1099)

Pay: Hourly

Hours: Minimum of 25 hours a week, may work more

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing high quality HCC coding across multiple clients.

HCC coding for 2015-2016 year.

This is a 25-40 hour week position.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

CPC or CPC-A or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA

CRC preferred, but not required

Must have at least 12 months of active HCC coding experience.

Must have proof of passing an ICD-10 Proficiency or

Readiness Assessment through the AAPC or AHIMA

Must pass background check and drug screening

Must pass the HCC Risk Adjustment online coding assessment test

Signed contract with APEX CODEMINE

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is a CONTRACT position for a SHORT TERM project (as needed basis)

Must maintain a 95% accuracy rate or above.

Must maintain a 95% completeness rate.

Mandatory live-online training required.

You will be paid within 30 days from the date receipt of your billable invoice

This is a 1099 position.

Must have a Windows Based Operating System or MAC.

You will be paid for system training once you have signed a contract and worked a total of 180 hours.
